We do not offer local pickup. Online product selection and prices are only valid for web and phone orders to be shipped out. Please note that product availability and pricing with our associated pharmacy, Canada Chemists, will differ.

Products with the Refrigeration Required symbol (blue snowflake) are shipped in insulated containers with ice packs via express shipping (Xpresspost or Priority). To minimize time in transit, refrigerated orders ship Mondays & Tuesdays only . Pet owners are responsible to track packages and refrigerate it promptly upon arrival to prevent spoilage.

Products with the red Rx Prescription Required symbol must be accompanied by a valid prescription in order to be filled.

NOTE: Orders will not be shipped prior to receiving a prescription. And we do not ship prescription drugs outside Canada.

All prescription drugs have a dispensing fee of $7.99 per medication, per strength (any quantity).

Example: An order with 1x Deramaxx 25 mg (90 tablets), 1x Felimazole 2.5 mg (100 tablets), 6x Felimazole 5.0 mg (100 tablets each = 600 tablets total) will incur 3 x $7.99 dispensing fees (the 6x Felimazole 5.0 mg would only be charged one dispensing fee), for a total of $23.97 in prescription dispensing fees.

Prescriptions are valid until expiration date indicated by your prescriber.

If there isn't an expiration date explicitly stated, our pharmacist will exercise their clinical judgement to determine an appropriate date. Typically, prescriptions for maintenance (chronic) medications that do not have an expiry date will be valid for 12 months from date of issuance.

If the number of repeats is not indicated, or if it says "Repeat" but does not indicate the number of times, the prescription can only be filled once.

PetsDrugMart products are intended for personal household use only. We do not support wholesale purchasing, bulk resale, or third-party redistribution.

Orders placed in unusually large quantities may be reviewed, adjusted, or cancelled at our discretion to help ensure product availability, safe use, and compliance with product guidelines.

Please note that selecting "Priority" at checkout does not indicate that your order is put into a priority queue within Pets Drug Mart. The Processing Time remains the same, however, the Delivery Time with Canada Post is affected. Shipping costs will depend on the dimensions of your products and your order's destination.
