We know this is a complex action, with bureaucracy involved, so we wanted to make it easier for you to help us ask for change. Please see the template below for your reference, and feel free to make any changes to better reflect your position in this situation.

To our OMAFRA Representatives,

I am writing to express my strong support for fair pricing in the pet medication industry. As a pet owner and a concerned resident of [Your City/Region or Ontario], I believe that addressing this issue is crucial for both pet owners and the welfare of our beloved animals.

I kindly request that OMAFRA consider the concerns of pet owners like me and take proactive steps to ensure fair and affordable pricing for pet medications. We believe this can be accomplished through clear, specific updates to the Ontario Veterinary Act to:
                        
	a) allow pharmacists to order directly from manufacturers or distributors to reflect the current structure in the province of Quebec, which supports fair access and competition throughout the supply chain.

b) mirror the fair pricing & access protections in Canadian medical and naturopathic care for humans, such as:
	• Encourage prescription portability
	• Separate prescribing and dispensing as in human drugs
